From a recent poll by the human resources firm, Adecco:
- 29% of employees report logging longer hours than they did a year ago while 32% are experiencing more on-the-job stress.
- 75% claim to be “very” or “quite” loyal to their employer, with approximately 53% believing that loyalty is reciprocated.
A joint survey by Kronos Inc. and Harris Interactive found:
- 82% of employees, satisfied with their employers, are more likely to go above and beyond the call of duty, if asked.
- However, only 36% say they work for organizations that make investments in programs designed to bolster employee performance.
